The massage uses a generous amount of massage oil, and the receiver lies on a spa cover over the table that allows the practitioner to glide under the body with the oil. The massage is performed without clothes, with minimal draping; however, all private areas are covered and any additional draping requested by the receiver. The excess massage oil is gently wiped away with a towel before the session concludes.
Lomi can be gentle like a Swedish massage or deep like deep tissue, and Elizabeth will check in with the receiver to ensure the pressure is appropriate. Hot stones are used to warm the muscles and to nurture with Earth Energy.
